Opera at the Lime Tree: Least Like the Other

Searching for Rosemary Kennedy

The Irish National Opera at the Lime Tree Theatre is proud to present this work created by Brian Irvine and Netia Jones

“Irvine’s score has immense variety: dramatic brass dominates, creating musical reflections of psychic dissonance and signalling violence and violation… a striking and memorable show.” Irish Independent

An explosive and thought-provoking opera at the Lime Tree of experimental music theatre. It traces events in the life of Rosemary, eldest daughter of Joe and Rose Kennedy, sister of JFK, using heavily redacted materials from the archives, only recently pieced together by biographers and academics.

Vaccination passport is required to attend this event. Wearing of mask/face covering is compulsory once inside the building.
