“Four legs good! Two legs bad!”

Limerick Youth Theatre and Bottom Dog Theatre Company are delighted to announce that this year’s summer show will be a joint-production of George Orwell’s ever-relevant classic ‘Animal Farm’. A tale of hope and its inevitable decay, it remains both prescient and current in our politically unstable times; a human parable told through the metaphor of simple farm animals. Through movement, design and thematic examination, this production will be a vibrant and moving piece of theatre  which will not only reflect its original inspiration but what it has to say to us today.

Working with ensemble members of Bottom Dog Theatre CompanyLYT members will work closely with professional actors, directors, writers, designers, and choreographers to create this production. Working with a professional local Theatre company and a talented young cast, this year’s play continues to develop, support and sustain theatre making for young adults in Limerick city.

“All animals are equal, but some animals are more equal than others.”
