Belltable is delighted to announce an exciting week of creative fun this Halloween.

Under the guidance of experienced theatre makers and facilitators Liam McCarthy and  Eimear O’Riordan, as well as Mary Immaculate College Artist in Residence Deirdre Dwyer, the children will take part in specialist workshops including drama, singing, dancing, creative writing as well as arts and crafts. This mid-term course offers an all-round introduction to the performing and visual arts for children aged 6 to 12 years.

As it’s Halloween, we will also include a little bit of spooky storytelling, face-painting and dress up. Places are limited so early booking is advised.  

Camp Times: 10am to 3pm (drop off from 9.30am)

Camp Location: Belltable Hub, 69 O’Connell Street, Limerick City (next to Belltable theatre, up the stoop on the left of theatre entrance)

Liam McCarthyLiam has worked as a facilitator and drama teacher with many theatre schools and centres throughout Ireland as well as in Spain, Italy and in the USA. He is currently project manager at the Ark, Dublin a cultural centre for children and has recently worked as a facilitator for Dublin Theatre Festival. Liam is also a playwright and theatre maker and has worked with companies such as The Traverse, Edinburgh, Rough Magic, Druid, Siren Productions, the Samuel Beckett Centre and Octopus Soup theatre. He has worked as a drama teacher with the Independent Theatre Workshop, Dublin and participated in the Belltable: Connect mentorship in 2017. He studied drama at Trinity College Dublin and at UC Berkeley, California.
Eimear O’RiordanEimear studied Drama and Theatre at Trinity College Dublin after graduating she moved to London to pursue an MA in Acting. She trained at Drama Centre where she was awarded the Vice Chancellor scholarship for excellence. She has performed on many stages across Ireland and the UK including The Peacock, Project Arts Centre, Smock Alley, Samuel Beckett Theatre, The Tron, Glasgow, Cork Opera House, The Everyman Palace Theatre, Theatre 503, and Platform Theatre London. Eimear has worked for many theatre schools across Ireland and the UK and currently works for the Mel Ryan School where she directs the annual Mel Ryan School Show at The Mill Theatre, Dundrum each year.
