It’s hard not to be bowled over by the infectious enthusiasm of Tine Thing Helseth. On a mission to expand the performance repertoire for solo trumpet, she has commissioned new works from numerous composers and in the process has become recognised as one of the world’s leading trumpet soloists. For this tour, she is accompanied by regular collaborator Gunnar Flagstad on piano.

Norway’s internationally-renowned Trumpet star is unabashed in her mission to open up the repertoire to new styles, new ways of making music, and especially new audiences: onstage, she loves nothing better than sharing details about a favourite work.
