Desi Wilkinson is a fluteplayer of international renown with eclectic musical interests who has performed throughout Europe, North America and Japan. He has played at venues such as the NCH Dublin, The Concertgebouw Amsterdam, the Irish Cultural Centre Paris, the John F. Kennedy centre Washington D.C. and many other prestigious venues. He is a member of CRAN and ‘Buffalo in the castle’. In this concert, he presents material from his latest recording project performing both as a soloist and in collaboration with some of his musical colleagues. 

Desi is currently Traditional musician in residence at MIC, Limerick.

Colm Murphy hails from Cork and is one of Ireland’s most reputed Bodhran players.  He has worked with De Dannan and Mairtin O’Connor among many others and is a regular tutor and performer at cultural events throughout Ireland and abroad.  Also an visual artist and sculptor Colm is currently a core instrumental tutor at the Music department at UCC.
Patrick Molard: From St Malo in Brittany, Patrick is a master of bagpiping in general.  A virtuoso on Uilleann pipes and highland pipes (Pibroch and ceol beag), he is also a seminal figure in the revival of the biniou koz (Brittany’s traditional bagpipe).  A performer and teacher of international repute- he has worked with Alan Stivel and is a founder member of Gwerz, one of Brittany’s most influential traditional music ensembles.
Gary O’Briain : Originally from Dublin, Gary is a multi-talented musician (Bouzouki, keyboards, Guitar) who has collaborated, recorded and toured with many other celebrated performers.  Notably Mairtin O’Connor, Jackie Daly and (currently) Finbar Furey. Much in demand as a sound engineer and producer Gary has his own state-of-the-art recording studio close to his home in Kinvara Co. Galway.
