International prize-winning baritone, Dr. Gavan Ring studied at the Schola Cantorum at St Finian’s College before reading education and music at DCU, RIAM and the National Opera Studio London. Opera highlights include leading roles at Opéra Royal de Versailles, Glyndebourne, Scottish Opera, Opera North, Wexford Festival Opera, Opera Holland Park, Opera Rara, Wide Open Opera and Opera Theatre Company. 2018/19 season includes the title role in Mozart’s Don Giovanni for Welsh National Opera, Olivier in Strauss’ Capriccio for Garsington Festival Opera, Papageno in Mozart’s The Magic Flute for Opera North, Radoski in a concert performance of Rossini’s Sigismondo with the Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks, L’horloge/Le Chat in Ravel’s L’enfant et les sortileges at the BBC Proms and the Lucerne Festival plus recitals at Wigmore Hall with pianists Chris Glynn and Simon Lepper.
Award winning Concert Pianist Santa Ignace, originally from Latvia, has lived in and performed throughout Ireland for more than 10 years, and is proud to announce this country as her second home. Her new ambition – to develop her conducting skills has already brought Santa to Russia, where she had her conducting debut with the Symphony Orchestra of St Petersburg.
