How To Draw Workshop

Have you ever wanted to learn how to draw a cartoon character?  Or a dragon?  A unicorn?  A silly face?  Or, have you ever thought that drawing seems impossible?  Well, cartoonist Aidan Courtney will be doing a step-by-step blitz ‘how to draw workshop’ for children of all ages to show that everyone can draw something and have a bit of a laugh doing it.

Comic Book Workshop

Would you like to create your own little comic or book with illustrations?  From an A4 sheet of paper, Aidan Courtney, will show children from nine years of age upwards how to make a mini-book with their own story.  There will be some step-by-step drawing, discussion about where stories come from and a bit of fun in the process.

Aidan Courtney is an Ennis based cartoonist, writer and publisher. He has appeared on TG4 and had cartoons published in Ireland, the UK and France. He has worked with Children’s Books Ireland. He has worked as a book reviewer on Clare FM and as a writer in several publications. He gives workshops to kids in Irish and English on how to draw and make comics.
