Kathy Rose is an actor and storyteller. She is a graduate of the Samuel Beckett Centre, Trinity College Dublin and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London. Her most recent acting credits include Landmark Productions’ THEATRE FOR ONE at Cork Midsummer Festival (2019) and COME ON HOME by Philly McMahon, directed by Rachel O’Riordan for the Abbey Theatre. Kathy Rose has played lead roles in Dublin, London, and the US and been nominated for an Irish Times Irish Theatre Award.
She has recently curated a performance & exhibition at the new Museum of Literature Ireland (moli.ie) about her grand-aunt, the novelist, playwright and journalist Kate O’Brien, who is the subject of the museum’s inaugural temporary exhibition. Kathy Rose is also an accomplished voiceover artist, and a regular voice on RTE Radio 1, winning the Gold Medal for Narration at the New York Festival Radio Awards for THE LITTLE PEN PAL (RTE, 2018).
