Can stories bridge borders? Can narratives unite? In a time of increased division and uncertainty, can storytelling create space for empathy and understanding?
This inspirational evening of literature and music will feature renowned British and Irish artists whose work tries to answer these questions by stepping into the shoes of the other. Bestselling novelist Ruth Gilligan will be joined by award-winning authors Donal Ryan, David Savill and Paula McGrath, and musician Kathleen Turner, for a special evening of word and song.
This event is brought to you by Narrative 4, a global not-for-profit based in New York City and Limerick that empowers young people to improve their lives, their communities and the world through exchanging stories.
‘Telling the Other Story’ is supported by the Arts Council England, the University of Birmingham, The Ireland Funds, the JP McManus Benevolent Fund and Limerick City & County Council.
