Wonderful Woodland Shadow Puppetry Workshop

Come and discover the wonders of light and shadow as you make your very own shadow puppet with Emma Fisher from Beyond the Bark Puppet and Installation Theatre.

Children’s creations will be inspired by the wonderful creatures – hedgehogs, bats, owls, frogs, and even fairies – who live in the magical world of Whistleberry Forest. Afterwards, the children’s shadow puppets will be displayed (and they might even have a little dance) during the Treetop Tunes session! Parents/guardians are welcome to stay and join in!

Wonderful Woodland artist profile: Dr. Emma Fisher, is a puppeteer and puppet-maker from Co. Limerick. She is the Artistic Director of Beyond the Bark Puppet and Installation Theatre, an inclusive puppet company who create visual theatre using puppetry, mask, and physical theatre. Emma an inspiring, innovative, passionate artist who is dedicated to making exceptional puppet theatre for both adults and children.
